People do create new and or different projections of themselves. Some stay close to home. The power that the internet gives you, allows you to be whomever you want behind that keyboard or that screen. Today’s modern music mostly promotes guns sex and drugs but the image behind the videos are an example of the personas we tend to put on. Video vixens, new rappers and/or singers who promote, promote what sells. SEX! Sex sells! Parts of society who are intuned with today’s day and age, see women always altering them selves, too dark? Lighten up. Too fat? Shave it off. Butt too small, get a BBL; brazilian butt lift. The way females and males are portrayed by the media are the worse ones. Society begins to promote the disrespect men are showing women and to see women that people idolize accept the disrespect as if it is okay. This comes from the media being our morning paper, our neighborhood watch and our match makers.
